THE EVERYDAY DIFFERENCE

One place for the work that matters.

Welcome a new colleague, track each change and prepare a clear handover. Keep the whole employee journey connected.

A closer look at your setup

The lifecycle is where UAE HR differs most from the systems built for elsewhere. A joiner needs a labour contract, an Emirates ID, a residence visa and a bank account before they can legally be paid, and each of those has its own expiry that will eventually land back on the HR team's desk.

Kled treats the lifecycle as a sequence of states with documents attached to each, rather than as a folder of PDFs. The consequence is that expiry is a property of the record; the system knows a labour card lapses in forty days, and it tells someone.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

The details, brought together.

Explore the capabilities that support this part of your workday.

Records & contracts

One employee record carrying personal details, contract terms, grade, salary structure and every document that supports them, with full version history.

Renewals & transfers

Fixed-term contract renewals, salary revisions and inter-entity transfers as tracked processes with approvals, not fields quietly edited in place.

Document-expiry tracking

Passport, Emirates ID, labour card, residence visa and any custom document type, each with its own notice period and escalation path.

Onboarding checklists

Templated by role and entity: IT assets, seat, induction, policy acknowledgements. The new joiner completes their share in self-service before day one.

Offboarding with the numbers

Resignation or termination runs a checklist and produces the end-of-service calculation, final settlement and clearance in the same flow.

Probation & confirmation

Probation end dates are watched rather than remembered, with the review and the confirmation letter generated from the same event.

01 / IN PRACTICE

Expiry is the whole game

Nearly every UAE compliance failure we see at the HR layer traces back to a date nobody was watching. Documents expire on their own schedule, renewals need lead time, and the penalty for a lapse lands on the employer.

  • Per-document-type notice periods: a visa needs more warning than a health card.
  • Escalation when the first notice is ignored, to a named person rather than a queue.
  • A single expiry dashboard across every entity, filterable by document, department or site.
  • Mobile push to the employee for the documents only they can produce.

02 / IN PRACTICE

Offboarding that closes cleanly

Offboarding is where records, payroll and legal exposure meet. Running it as a checklist that ends in a calculated settlement means the last payslip, the gratuity figure and the clearance are produced from one process.

  • End-of-service calculated on the correct regime, with the arithmetic shown.
  • Unpaid-leave periods excluded from the service length used for accrual.
  • Asset return, access revocation and final approvals tracked to completion.
  • The experience letter and settlement statement generated on your letterhead.

The Explainer answers the leaver's question before it becomes a dispute

“Why is my final settlement this number?” is the most expensive question in offboarding. The Payslip & End-of-Service Explainer answers it with the actual calculation, the contract basis and the rule applied, reading from the payroll engine rather than recalculating, so what the employee sees is what was paid.

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Your questions, answered.

Can we import historical service dates?

Yes, joining dates, contract history and prior unpaid-leave periods all import, which matters because gratuity accrual depends on them.

What happens to service history on an inter-entity transfer?

It stays continuous. The employing entity changes for payroll and WPS purposes; the accrual clock does not restart unless you tell it to.

Do employees get their own documents?

Yes, through self-service and the mobile app, which is also where they upload a renewed passport or Emirates ID.
